Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty will soon be moving its Huntington office to a new location.
After several decades at its office at 187 Park Ave., the brokerage firm will be relocating its Huntington headquarters to a 2,800-square-foot office at the corner of Main Street and New York Avenue.
Daniel Gale will be moving to the new office at 263 Main St. in early spring. The new space, which was formerly occupied by Ann Taylor Loft, will be home to about 50 sales agents.
“To say that we are excited about our new location is an understatement,” Daniel Gale CEO Deirdre O’Connell O’Connell said in a company statement. “Not only is Huntington the hometown of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, our very first office was founded on this busy corner in 1922. Its opening will coincide with the start of our 100th anniversary celebration.”
Eric McCarthy, sales manager of the Huntington office, said he is also enthusiastic about the move.
“An essential part of our culture is being part of the local community, and we will be in the thick of it here on Main Street,” McCarthy said in the statement. “Huntington is among Long Island’s most desirable communities in which to live, and we look forward to inviting our neighbors, friends and passersby to stop in and say hello.”
Daniel Gale has more than 850 real estate sales agents and brokers and 25 sales offices in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties, according to the company.
