MELBOURNE BEACH, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mar 22, 2022–

Gigantor Technologies Inc., headquartered in Melbourne Beach, Florida, has done it again; another patent was issued at breakneck speed with all patent claims approved. In July of 2021, Gigantor filed the patent application for ‘Unbounded Parallel Implementation of Deep Neural Networks.’ Just seven (7) months later, on Feb. 22, 2022, the Patent Office issued Patent No. 11,256,981.

Gigantor’s newest innovation enhances Artificial Intelligence (AI) neural networks by enabling higher frame rates at the highest resolution (HD, 4K, and 8K). In the Patent Title, ‘Unbounded Parallel,’ describes the ability to accept streams of many adjacent pixels simultaneously from a live video feed or sensor data source. The Unbounded invention allows AI to see a complete picture of the surroundings, process high-resolution data from real-time sensors, and react instantly.

Mark Mathews, CTO and Co-founder of Gigantor Technologies Inc., explains, “While the previous version of GigaMACS™ ran circles around GPU and TPU hardware during all performance tests, our newest patent removes the restriction that inputs be presented one at a time and allows the neural network model to accept any frame rate the camera can deliver.”

Gigantor’s VP of Marketing, Jessica Jones, added, “Models using GigaMACS™ accept HD or 4K data while working at the input pixel rate. Regardless of the video stream speed, GigaMACS™ won’t drop frames and maintains a constant near-zero latency, so the AI model responds accurately and interacts in real-time.”

With the Unbounded Parallel technology applied to the ResNet-34 test, for example, GigaMACS™ achieves 120 FPS at 4k resolution or 480 FPS at HD. GigaMACS™ will go even faster, without dropping frames or adding latency.

Gigantor’s latest patent complements the existing GigaMACS™ product umbrella, previously awarded Patent No. 11,099,854. Gigantor designed a completely new and unique non-von Neumann architecture for sophisticated AI implementation with instant reaction capabilities. Developers no longer need to prune, filter, reduce mathematical precision, or minimize the model size to make it work. Size, complexity, and workload are never an issue for GigaMACS™, as the patented technology enables the model to run at the highest speed and frame rate.

GigaMACS™ takes a finished and trained AI model and automatically creates a hyper-optimized circuit for an FPGA or ASIC. Now, with the Unbounded Parallel technology, AI can see in higher resolutions with the highest frame rates, process 100% of the data in real-time, and instantly react to the surrounding environment.

Gigantor set the bar extremely high with GigaMACS™, which today’s technology (GPUs & TPUs) cannot compete with due to architecture limitations. Gigantor’s latest invention, Unbounded Parallel technology, removes the bar completely.

Good Thursday Morning, Fellow Seekers. When it was pushed under the former Corbett administration in 2011, Pennsylvania’s tavern gaming law was pitched as a sure-fire way to allow Keystone State saloon-keepers to compete with the small games of chance that are a fixture at Elk and VFW halls across the commonwealth. Nearly a decade on,...
