Top VR Games April 2022: Preparing For The Metaverse? – Tech Times

With things moving closer and closer to the metaverse, a new batch of VR games is expected to launch this April. Learn more about Meta’s Quest Gaming Showcase and more.

As per UploadVR, there are many games expected to launch this month. These include a few titles for Quest as part of the expected Meta showcase.

Here are the Upcoming VR Games This April 2022:

April 1: ‘The Under Presents Live Performance’

Available for Quest, PC VR

For those that are fond of live VR events, new actors are expected to jump into the game and find other people roaming the theatrical wasteland. The upcoming series expects to bring the home-based VR game to a whole new level for those who have tried the original game.

April 7: Green Hell VR

Available for the Quest 2

The game takes players through the hell of having to survive a tropical jungle where the creatures want to kill the player. Players will be able to craft items while looking around for food. The upcoming game will also be available for PC this coming May or June.

 

April 20: ‘Meta Quest Gaming Showcase’

Although this launch technically isn’t a game itself, this is where players will be able to discover new games expected to launch on Meta. The event includes news regarding games like “Among Us,” “Tripwire Interactive,” and “Cities: VR.”

April 21: ‘Little Cities’

Available for Quest

Instead of the hardcore killing games, “Little Cities” is a relaxing city builder game that allows users to build roads, buildings, and certain hot spots within the city. Once players choose to play on god mode, they can make hospitals and schools and make sure citizens of their city get everything they need.

 

April 28: ‘Cities: VR’

Available for Quest 2

VR players are going to get another city-building simulator game which is a spinoff of a previous popular game called “Skylines.” The game was described as extremely rich in detail, giving players the ability to bring their creations to life. 

 

April: ‘Ultrawings 2’

Available for PC VR

For those that missed the chance to get the game back in March, the “Ultrawings 2” PC VR version is expected to launch this April. Players will be getting five different aircraft to pilot and a number of missions to try out.

April: ‘Requisition VR’

Available for PC VR

One exciting game for players includes a new zombie survival game in a classic co-op fashion. Players will get the chance to make their own weapons through household items. It is important to note that the game is still in early access, meaning more details and updates are expected to be added in the upcoming months. 

 

Currently, Some games like “Requisition VR” can be found on Steam, showing which headsets are compatible with the game and how the games are supposed to be played.
