We broke the news earlier that the USFL draft lottery will take place today at 3PM ET on Speak For Yourself on Fox Sports. This will determine the order for the draft next week. We are not sure what segment it will be but it more than likely will not be at the beginning of the show.
This was later confirmed by the USFL.
The USFL draft is set to take place on February 22nd. It will not be streamed but it will be covered on all the USFL’s streaming channels. We are hearing that the draft will take place much later in the day, not early morning like some of the USFL’s news releases.
This comes on the heals of a flurry of USFL announcements this week. Tuesday, we learned about the USFL’s partnership with Sportsradar. Wednesday, we heard about the USFL’s plans to play their playoffs and championship game in Canton, Ohio, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium. Today, we get all eight USFL teams’ uniforms and the USFL Draft Lottery.
Based on our reporting, we should learn more about the draft tomorrow and we could get the leagues schedule as soon as Monday.
USFL training camps are set to open March 21st. Stay tuned to XFL News Hub for all the breaking USFL News.
